Parcel squee...!

Got a lovely post surprise this morning - a parcel from gingerpig with Kane's new live album and copies of both Steve Carlson's solo albums! Thank you, Sweetie, you're the best [smooches you].

Also via GP came a fab notebook from wolfshark with 'Vic's Notes' and my fave pic of JM on it. Thanks Sharkie, I love it! [pops it in handbag for fic]

I'm actually at work at the moment (got to skim LJ for an hour so I'm almost aware of what's been going on!) even though it should be my day off because... well, they asked me and quite frankly I need the money! Only until 1pm though - 2 hours to go... [is counting]

But it's 30 degrees outside today, so in my bag I have packed some lunch, my sunglasses, a towel, my fic notebook, my boyporn novel and my new CDs, and at 1pm I'm off to the park for some serious relaxation. I would go to the beach, but the downside of living in a seaside resort is that the beach is always covered with bloody tourists!

1 hour 45 minutes... [tra la la]

PS - Sorry I keep missing people's birthdays [waves at princess_s] and other major events. As soon as my new job gives me a start date and I'm out of this hellhole library, I'm aiming to be a much better friend. Honest...
